There is lot of discussion going on right now on new law, CAA.
Some College students are coming out to oppose the law. Media is widely covering same & possible atrocities. Yes, we are democratic country & we have right to express our views.

Now let’s extend same to others who are neutral on the law or are supporting the law, they also have democratic rights, but they are silent. If this continues,
Imagine two situations,
*Imagine a situation where all colleges are forced to take some stand on the law.
*Imagine a situation where all students in a college are forced to take a stand on the law.

What will be situation across all campuses, across India. NSUI, ABVP, Communist wings all can get unnecessarily engaged, if Police is not controlling this in time.

Things are burning on road, do we want Police to take action or not. If yes, how & what they should do !?

Now,
*Protests can be for or against CAA by each college.
*Protests can be against atrocities on students by Police.

Are they both same ? No... both are different. I may support CAA but I may oppose hard action of Police on students. Let’s not make mistake of clubbing both types of Protests together & try to project a point of view for or against the CAA.

Let’s not forget, we also have Supreme Court, let’s wait before we decide to go back on the road.

Let’s think before we all post & promote a view. The Law has been passed by a Govt which was elected just few months back, it already reflects the view of the country at this moment. Let’s wait for few years, this law can be reversed again by a new Govt, enough time till next election for everyone for lobbying own views, that’s beauty of Democracy. Like Maharashtra voter will have to wait for five more years to express on these new political marriages. They are not on road...
