Franklin & Twitter diplomacy.

Two types of behaviors observed during last few days while managing crisis, Franklin & TLTRO 2.0.

If you see inquiries conducted in Europe & US, the answers given by top management seem sometimes rude but to the point.

In India, we have British inspired bureaucracy & we have our own culture of developing human relations first followed by business diplomacy.

I am surprised that after spending so many years in India, Franklin couldn't learn the culture & ways of doing business in India. They should have well established relations with RBI, Govt, Ministers, Regulatory bodies as process & there should have been communication lines.

Similarly on TLTRO 2.0, views were expressed on Twitter. Same here, why as management there is no direct communication with right people, why such crucial feedback is coming openly on Twitter. Open feedback brings confrontation with establishment, close feedback resolves issues. Are we missing basic principles of management.

Also, on Govt front, they have to become more approachable to absorb feedback quickly.

When we were able to run businesses in colonial atmosphere by writing letters to officials based out of London for permission & travel there by sea, why we are not able to establish relations in this era.
